Sliming tablets and diet pills are appetite suppressant:

I have just purchased Silver slimming tablets and want to take them in conjunction with slim fast in order to lose weight is this okay?

All the sliming tablets and diet pills have high claims that they are very effective in weight loss. They often emphasize on quick weight loss using natural ingredients without practicing any diet or exercise. But in actual all these pills are either appetite suppressant or act as diuretics which can lead to water loss from the body. Slim fast contains a variety of products that are designed for meals or snacks. These products are generally used instead of your regular meals.

Before substituting any product for your regular balanced meal it is very important to consult a health care provider or a registered dietician to identify your daily requirements. Secondly if you have healthy balanced meals there is no need to go for any diet supplements, diet pill or slimming tablets to lose weight. Weight loss should be a gradual and natural process. If you want life time results permanent lifestyle changes and healthy modifications along with sufficient physical activity is essential. Any amount of weight loss achieved by diet pills or slimming tablets will come back as soon as you stop them and start your regular lifestyle. Before starting any pills/tablets or weight loss products learn what are the active ingredients in them, will they cause any possible side-effects, will they interfere with any nutrients in the body and is the weight loss actual weight loss or just water loss.

If you are looking forward for a meaningful and a permanent solution then there is only one way – diet and exercise. A balanced meal includes foods from all the five food groups that are whole grains, cereals and its products, pulses, meat, fish, egg, poultry and dairy products, fruits and vegetables, sugar, fats and oils. These foods should be included in proper harmony in your daily diet. The basis of the diet should be complex carbohydrates which include whole cereals and grains. Proteins can be derived from low fat or fat free dairy products, egg white, fish, lean meats and poultry. The consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables should be high and the consumption of simple sugars, bakery products, fats and oils should be minimal. Also some drinks like carbonated drinks, sodas, chocolates, refined foods, and sugars add extra calories to the diet and so its consumption should be avoided. Along with the diet modifications regular exercise is also equally important. A simple activity like a brisk walk when done daily at a stretch for 40-45 minutes will also work best.
